Villa Noailles Residency – Panel Discussion

Panel Discussion is a design project by Max Frommeld and Arno Mathies conducted during a year long deign residency at the Villa Noailles in Hyeres. It acknowledges the history of Villa Noailles as both a place of relaxation and entertainment. Using a single material, Valchromat – an engineered and improved version of MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard), the designers developed objects that bring people together and encourage communal activities.

The designers have selected the bench as a furniture type for Panel Discussion because of the Villa’s history of creative dialogue. These benches have been showcased in a numerous series of galleries and exhibitions and have been awarded in 2017 the Swiss design award price.

Currently only a few benches are still available for purchase as they are all unique pieces. Shipping is excluded in the price and is paid separately according to your location.
